He was a part of WCW from 1991–1995. One of his first rivalry was "Bobby Eaton". In the year 1991, he defeated Bobby for WCW`s World Television Championship belt. Austin lost his title to Barry Windham and later regained it back by defeating him. In the year 1993, Austin along with Brian Pillman, formed a new team named "The Hollywood Blondes". This team is still mentioned in wrestling history of tag teams. Austin and Pillman continued ruling over tag team division. Later, they competed for WCW`s World Tag Team Championship belts and won by defeating Shane Douglas and Ricky Steamboat.

Austin`s next feud for another championship in WCW was for WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. Austin gained the title after defeating Dustin Rhodes. He lost his title to Ricky Steamboat. Austin`s WCW career came to an end when Eric Bischoff fired him in 1995 as Eric doubted his talent and didn`t see him as a marketing wrestler.

ECW ( Extreme Championship Wrestling )

Austin in year 1995 joined WCW when Paul Heyman contacted him. In ECW, he mocked WCW and Eric Bischoff several times because of their past issues in WCW. This is the time when Austin started developing his mic skills. Austin was named in ECW as "Superstar" Steve Austin. His rivalry started with, at that time ECW Heavyweight Champion Mikey Whipwreck. He also feuded with The Sandman and hence a triple threat match was set up for ECW Heavyweight Championship where The Sandman defeated both of them.

WWE ( World Wrestling Entertainment )

Steve Austin when came to WWE`s locker room, quickly became most popular and powerful wrestler at his time. He started his career as "The Ringmaster" and was awarded "Million Dollar Belt" by "Ted DiBiase". Ted DiBiase crowned Austin with the name "Million Dollar Champion" . Later he changed his name to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. According to WWE`s storyline Austin was playing a role of a disrespectful character, who use to drink beers everytime, even in the ring. He was a hero who refused to obey his boss and company. This character of Austin in WWE, was defined as WWE`s Attitude Era. WWE`s rival WCW was growing their business very well during that time. They were ahead in ratings, fan following and in everything. Austin`s character played a major role to gave WWE a boost that they needed at that time. In the late 90s and early 2000s, WWE started jumping ahead WCW. Even many Hall of Famers including Ric Flair, Jim Ross described him the key wrestler who helped WWE to win ratings war against WCW. John Cena, Cm Punk, Paul Heyman mentioned Stone Cold as most decorated, biggest and profitable superstar in WWE history. According to Vince Mcmahon, Austin surpassed popularity of Hulk Hogan.
When WCW realised that they lost a gem, they tried to stop Stone Cold`s success by trying to make a duplicate. But, it was too late. WCW invited a powerful wrestler named "Bill Goldberg", and made him "The Undefeated", with 173-0 streak. But they failed to stop Stone Cold`s popularity and later bankrupted.

I love Austin`s character because he suits for "Heel". He started his career as a heel. Austin mocked everyone and hence he got some attention from Bret Hart. Bret Hart was "Face of the company" at that time and soon became the first big superstar in WWE to shut Austin`s mouth. They both fought each other in a Submission Match at WrestleMania 13 Austin at that time was not that technical in moves, but matched the strength with Bret Hart. This particular match reborned Stone Cold`s character as he was broken, covered in blood and trapped in Hart’s finishing move Sharpshooter, but Austin refused to tap out. Special Guest Referee "Ken Shamrock" was sitting and asking Austin to respond but he lost consciousness from the pain and hence Shamrock ordered to ring the bell. Bret hart refused to leave his Sharpshooter and continue attacking Austin with boots. 18,000 people in audience cheered for the defeated Austin and booed to Bret Hart. Soon Austin started a feud with Hart Family and won Tag Titles from them with partner "Dude Love".
When Austin was on his career’s peak, he suffered a serious injury at 1997’s SummerSlam during a battle against Owen Hart for Intercontinental Championship. Owen Hart performed a Pile Driver and Austin was dropped straight on his head resulting a neck injury. But, somehow Austin defeated Owen Hart and gained Intercontinental Championship belt. But, Austin was forced to drop his Intercontinental Championship and Tag Team Championship. But soon Austin returned to ring and regained his Intercontinental Championship belt by defeating Owen Hart.

When Bret Hart left WWE, the two names in the company were Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Shawn Michaels at that time was World Champion and Austin rised above as the 1998 Royal Rumble winner and hence challenged Michaels for his title. "The special enforcer" for their match was "Mike Tyson", who was disrespected by Austin and later they both exchanged hands in the ring. Mike Tyson then joined the side of D Generation- X lead by Shawn Michaels and Triple H. But later at Wrestlemania XIV, Tyson shocked everyone when he knocked out Michaels after the match.

His finishing move "Stone Cold Stunner" is still described as the most fan favourite move. People loved this move in the late 90`s and early 2000`s. Some of his best stunners to remember was on Vince Mcmahon, The Rock, Shawn Michaels and Scot Hall. Some of his other signature moves were Mudhole StompPointed elbow dropStomp to the opponent's groin, etc.

Austin is a 6 time WWE Champion, 2 time Intercontinental Champion, 4 time WWE Tag Team Champion. He is a 5th Triple Crown Champion. Stone Cold also won King of the Ring in 1996, when he defeated Jake 'The Snake' Roberts in the final match with a Stone Cold Stunner. Later after becoming King of the Ring, he invented Austin 3 :16 catchphrase, one of the most powerful catchphrase in WWE`s history. He is the winner of 1997, 19982001 Royal Rumbles as well. He is the only superstar who won 3 Royal Rumble matches in WWE`s history. He was also crowned "Million Dollar Championship" belt by Ted DiBiase. Ted DiBiase better known as "Million Dollar Man" earlier developed this belt. In 2003, when he faced The Rock in his final match and then lost, he was then forced to retire from ring. But, in real life Stone Cold was retire because of his 1997`s SummerSlam match neck injury. Later in 2003-04, Austin was credited as Co-General Manager along with Eric Bischoff. Because of his great success in the company Austin was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of  2009 by The Chairman Vince McMahon himself.

Feuds and Matches -

Austin`s greatest feud which strikes my mind was with Vince Mcmahon. When WWE was low in ratings with their rival WCW, the boss Vince Mcmahon came to the ring by himself. Stone Cold and Vince Mcmahon shared memorable moments and fought each other in the ring for years. Vince Mcmahon also eliminated Austin from 1999`s Royal Rumle. The next opponent which had history with Stone Cold was The Rock. They both fought each other multiple times and later in Austin`s final match, The Rock pinned him after three Rock Bottoms. Some of his other feud was with Chris Jericho, Triple - H, Bill Goldberg, etc
